Questions & answers

How long does a back massage take?

A therapeutic back massage takes 30 minutes, a deep tissue massage of the back and entire back side 45 minutes, and combinations with a full-body massage 60–80 minutes.

Is a deep back massage painful?

You set the pressure. Deep tissue can go up to your pain threshold, but the therapist constantly follows your reaction, and if it doesn't feel right we switch to a relaxing massage.

Can I get a back massage without lying on my stomach?

Yes. We also do back massage seated on a special massage chair — ideal if lying down is uncomfortable or you are short on time.

How often should I get a back massage?

For tension from sitting and stress we recommend once a week or every two weeks. For a longer-lasting effect, combine it with a massage of the entire back side or the full body.
